  12. After some help from sci.electronics.design I have built a lead that
  13. connects from a telephone socket to the in/output of my soundcard, so
  14. that I can use my data/fax modem as a voice modem. My question is do
  15. the voice modems have any special commands (AT perhaps), or does the
  16. software perform automatically use the soundcard input?
  17. I would also like to know of any free voice modem software that could
  18. record incoming messages and swap between voice/fax as needed.
